Project Introduction: The Yebatan Hydropower Station is located on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, at the border between Baiyu County in Sichuan Province and Gongjue County in Tibet. It is the 7th of the 13 cascade hydropower stations on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, with the Polo Hydropower Station upstream and the Lawa Hydropower Station downstream. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 1.185 billion cubic meters, and the installed capacity of the power station is 2.24 million kW, with an average annual power generation of 10.205 billion kWh. It is the hydropower project with the largest installed capacity on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River. The power station is primarily for power generation, with additional functions such as flood control, environmental protection, soil and water conservation, and tourism development.
